responsibilities
and
privileges
guaranteed
by the
United
States
Constitution
and the laws
of the State
of Texas,
unless those
rights have
been
restricted
by specific
provisions
of the law.

Advocates for the basic Human, Civil, and Special Rights of clients. |

Participates in training employees |

Investigates allegations of rights violations |

Receives and investigates complaints regarding health, safety, welfare, legal, or human rights of a client |

Serves as liaison with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services |

Represents the rights of clients during staff meetings |
| |
 |
Provides consultation to clients and families |
| |
 |
Provides clients, families, and staff the contact information in reporting Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation |
Clients have
the right to

and appeal
decisions
about their
treatment.
Clients
receiving
services are
